Thai Hei Cha (Shu Pu-erh)

Pu-erh tea from Thailand is a good combination of using tea bushes that are approximately 50-150 years old, giving the tea a fresh aroma and energetic intense flavor. This tea's production process is similar to the Chinese tea, but is from a different growing area and has another recipe. When drinking, the strong taste will come first, then the tea gets sweeter and has a unique Thai aroma.

How to Brew Pu-erh Tea

• Water temperature: 90-100 degrees Celsius.
• Housewares: clay, porcelain or ceramic teapot or mug.
• The number of brewings: 5-10.
• The amount of tea and volume: 3-5 grams per 150 - 250 ml.

1. Place the tea leaves into the teapot
2. Pour water into the teapot
3. After 10 seconds – throw out the water
4. One more time pour water into the teapot
5. After 10 seconds – throw out the water
6. Pour water into teapot
7. Leave the mixture for at least 15-30 seconds. (We recommend increasing the duration of the next brewing by about 5-10 seconds)
8. Drain the water out from teapot and your tea is ready to serve
