Milk Oolong

This is a Thai version of lightly oxidized oolong grown and produced in the north of Thailand by Taiwan technology. This is the case when the aroma does not spoil the taste of the drink, but it nicely complements it.

What is Milk Oolong & Where Does It Grow

Milk Oolong is a flavored tea made using the technology of oolong tea.

Our tea was made from the Taiwanese variety of Jin Xuan. Tea made of this bush was one of the first called milky oolong. The basis is only the upper flush from the tea bush and the traditional Taiwanese production technology. It has a pleasant soft taste and a milky caramel aftertaste.

Today, this variety grows in the Kingdom of Thailand in the ecologically clean northern regions of the country. In the place of growth there are no large factories or other industries polluting the environment, and therefore tea turns out to be clean and delicious.

How to Prepare Milk Oolong

  • Water temperature: 90-100 degrees Celsius (194 - 212 °F).
  • Housewares: transparent, porcelain or ceramic teapot or mug.
  • An amount of tea and volume: 1-2 tsp per 150 - 200 ml.
  • A number of brewings: 3-6.

  1. Place the tea leaves into the teapot and pour water into it
  2. Leave the mixture for at least 45-60 seconds*
  3. Drain the water out from a teapot and your tea is ready to serve

* Increase time of next brewing for 10-20 seconds.

Enjoy your tea! Tea Village Team :).
