Darjeeling Black Tea

This is black tea grown in the Himalayas in northern India. The infusion has a dark amber color, rich taste, tart with nutmeg, a little chocolate flavor. Its value above other black teas and some altogether calls it "The Tea Champagne". Due to a high content of caffeine, it is perfect for breakfast time.

How to Brew Darjeeling Tea

  • Water temperature: 100 degrees Celsius.
  • Housewares: transparent, porcelain or ceramic teapot or mug.
  • An amount of tea and volume: 1-2 tsp per 300 ml.
  • A number of brewings: 2-3.


  1. Place the tea leaves into the teapot and pour water into it
  2. The first filling lasts a few seconds and the water must be drained, thus washes the tea leaves.
  3. Pour water into the teapot again
  4. Leave the mixture for at least 2-5 minutes*
  5. Drain the water out from teapot and your tea is ready to serve


* Increase time of next brewing for 1-2 minutes.
